.throb is an independent top-level domain run on the Domainless network — not rented from ICANN and not brokered by anyone. You search a name, claim it, and manage its DNS yourself.
How do I claim one?
Find an open name and register it to your Domainless account. It's free while we bootstrap the namespace.
Where does a .throb name actually resolve?
For anyone using the Domainless resolver or VPN. Devices on the Domainless VPN get the resolver automatically, so .throb names just work; other devices need to point at our resolver.
Can I manage DNS records?
Yes. Add A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and NS records from your dashboard — changes go live on our nameserver instantly.
Is it a normal internet domain?
