Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every conversion — images, audio, or documents — runs entirely in your browser using APIs already built into it. Your files never touch a server, so there is nothing to leak, log, or store.

Which file formats can I convert?

Images: PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG or AVIF in — PNG, JPEG, WebP, BMP or ICO out (AVIF out in browsers that support encoding it). Audio: MP3, M4A/AAC, OGG, FLAC, WAV and more in — WAV out. Documents: combine images into a PDF, or convert between JSON and CSV. HEIC, RAW camera formats, and video conversion aren't supported — no browser can decode/encode those without a large external library. The formats page has the full matrix.

Can I compress or resize images while converting?

Yes — set the output quality and an optional maximum width or height, and the converter applies them as it converts.

Can I convert audio files too?

Yes — drop in any audio file your browser can decode (MP3, M4A/AAC, OGG, FLAC, WAV, and more) and it's converted to a standard WAV file locally, with optional mono downmixing and resampling.

Can I combine images into a PDF?

Yes — the Documents tab combines one or more images into a single PDF, one image per page, built entirely in your browser.

Can I encrypt files too?

Yes — the Encrypt tab links to a separate tool that encrypts files of any size entirely in your browser, plus an optional one-time burn-after-read link for sharing a secret. Encryption itself never leaves your device; if you use the share link, only encrypted ciphertext is stored on the server, and the decryption key travels in the link itself, never the server.
