Specific rules for tipping — the fastest way value moves between users on the platform. Master ToS §§ 5 and 6 govern; this addendum is the long-form.
Tips are denominated in U.S. dollars and routed through /wallet using Stripe-backed escrow. The recipient's connected bank account receives the tip on the schedule they pick (default 7-day release window). Domainless takes no platform cut on tips. Only Stripe's underlying processing fee (≈2.9% + 30¢) is deducted before payout.
Once a tip clears the escrow hold and posts to the recipient's bank, it is irreversible. During the hold, a sender may cancel only if the recipient has not yet acknowledged. If you sent a tip in error post-release, please reach the recipient directly. The platform will not adjudicate.
Coordinated mass-tipping that appears to be wash-trading, money-laundering, or artificial popularity inflation will be rolled back through Stripe's dispute path. Accounts involved are subject to review or suspension. We reserve sole discretion to identify such patterns and to defer to Stripe's card-network rules where they conflict with platform policy.
Tips can only be received by accounts that have completed Creator activation and Stripe Connect KYC. Tips sent to a non-Creator are held in escrow for up to 90 days; if the recipient has not activated by then, the tip is reversed and returned to the sender's payment source via Stripe.
