Convert WebP to JPG
Convert WebP images to JPG in your browser. No upload, no account, no watermark.
Open the converterJPG is the right target when the WebP is a photograph and you need something that will open absolutely everywhere — an email attachment, a print shop, a form that rejects anything it does not recognise, a piece of software from 2011.
Nothing is gained in quality by this conversion and a little is lost, since both formats are lossy and you are re-encoding. At default quality that loss is not visible at normal viewing size, but it is worth knowing it is a one-way trip: converting the JPG back to WebP later will not recover it.
If the image has a transparent background, JPG will fill it with white. For logos and cut-out graphics you almost certainly want PNG instead.
How it works
- Drop your WebP files on the page
- Choose JPG and a quality level
- Download, one file or all at once
Questions
- Should I convert to JPG or PNG?
- JPG for photographs where you want a small, universally readable file. PNG for anything with transparency, or with text and sharp edges.
- Does the image get uploaded?
- No. The conversion happens in your browser tab and the file never leaves your device.
Runs entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded, so there is nothing for us to store, log or lose. No account, no watermark, no size paywall.
